The Tax-Free Weekend in Texas is coming up soon! According to the State Comptroller’s web site Texas shoppers get a break from state and local sales taxes on August 20, 21 and 22, This is the weekend before school starts for most districts. The weekend before school starts is normally chaotic in stores, and if you add the Sales Tax Holiday on top of it then you have a recipe for mayhem.
But if you’re brave and really into saving then go for it! If you buy a lot your tax savings add up.
